Mission Jackson County
Mission Jackson County is a ministry led by Derrick Tapper and supported by faithful volunteers from our JCBA churches. The purpose of this ministry is to provide and build wheelchair ramps for the disabled and elderly in our communities. In the past two years almost 200 ramps were completed by Mission Jackson County.
Ramps are funded by private donations and our partnership with Volunteers of America Southeast (https://voase.org/). Those who receive a ramp are asked to pay it forward with whatever monetary gift they are able. Mission Jackson County has received donations great and small from those who want to show their gratitude and want to help provide a ramp for the next person in line.
The average cost for the materials requires to build a ramp can be anywhere from $700- $2000. If you would like to donate to the Mission Jackson County fund that goes directly to the materials checks can be made out and mailed to:

Another great way to keep up with the ramps that are built each month is to follow us on Facebook. Brochures illustrating ramps that are built are posted multiple times a month to keep you updated on the progress and the stories that go with it.
