Many ministries are possible throughout the year and, especially, the summer season. Our goal is to connect any visiting volunteer team with at least one of our local churches.
Among the many possibilities for ministry are Vacation Bible Schools, backyard clubs, nursing homes, and the Seafarers' Ministry at the Port of Pascagoula. There are ongoing construction projects available as well.
You and the sponsoring JCBA church design the program and we will take care of the accommodations.
We have a facility with bunks for approximately 24. This building has several showers, a dining area, lobby, washer/dryer, ice machine and full non-commercial kitchen. Teams are responsible for all meals. Guests provide their own linens, pillows, towels or washcloths. With the exception of our one single guest room that can accommodate two adults in a queen bed. Long term stays are to provide all daily essentials, such as toilet paper and paper towels. Teams are scheduled on a first come basis. We suggest a minimum donation of $5 per person, per night, with a $25 minimum per group, to help offset expenses. Groups are required to clean facility upon departure.
