Wade Baptist Church would like to invite everyone to our Neighbors and Nations Weekend, which will be held on November 22–23. During this special weekend, we will be hosting the Fleming family, IMB missionaries serving in Osaka, Japan.
On Saturday, the Flemings will share about their ministry, Saturate Osaka, as well as other gospel opportunities available throughout Japan. The event will take place from 2:00–4:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Following the time of sharing, we will host a fellowship with the Flemings, providing an opportunity to ask questions, visit, and encourage them personally.

This gathering will be led by members of the Church Revitalization and Mobilization Team. Lunch is provided and each participant will receive a free book. The primary goal is to seek input from pastors, gauging interest in forming Pastoral Cohorts—a time where pastors can support and encourage one another through fellowship and sharing ministry experiences. Additionally, we will present an opportunity for churches to participate in a revitalization process focused on helping churches prayerfully overcome challenges. We believe that strengthening both pastors and churches is at the heart of our mission: pastors helping pastors and churches helping churches.
During the last few weeks, at least two church shootings have been reported in the National News. As a result, JCBA has been asked to provide security training. This event is sponsored by the Mississippi Office of Homeland Security and will be taught by Jim Brinson, Deputy Director.
