We are an association of Kingdom-focused Southern Baptist Churches networking together through partnerships and teams. JCBA exists to facilitate the ministries of our member churches in their communities and throughout the world as mandated in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and according to Acts 1:8.

Our four arrow logo is based on Acts 1:8 (NKJV) “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
We have a commitment to reach Jackson County, our state of Mississippi, our country the U.S.A and the rest of the world!
Our Mission Jackson County logo builds upon our Association logo. You will see this when referring to our community ministry to build ramps for the disabled in our area. This effort is led by our Ministry Coordinator, Derrick Tapper.
International Seafarer’s Center Pascagoula
We have a privilege in Jackson County where our global mission field travels to us every week. Right here in our own Port of Pascagoula sailors from all over the world come to dock. We provide them with Bibles in their language, the Jesus film and a place to rest and relax in our two centers on the West and East Port. Here they can receive free shuttle rides to Walmart and receive refreshments as they often have limited shore leave. Our Port Ministry Chaplin Vince Smith is there to greet the ships and share the love of Christ. If you would like to volunteer for this ministry please contact us at the JCBA for more info.
